Almost 200 walk-in locations

CareSpot MedPost Merger

We’ve expanded compassionate care

CareSpot and MedPost are now part of FastMed, the largest independent urgent care provider with almost 200 clinics in 4 states. Learn more about the announcement here.

The addition of CareSpot and MedPost clinics in Arizona and Florida to FastMed’s existing clinics in Arizona, North Carolina, and Texas gives patients and communities greater access to high-quality, convenient, affordable, and compassionate healthcare.

While we are in the process of integrating, nothing changes related to patient experience across the brands. This ranges from services offered to insurance and pricing. Once we are fully integrated, we will be able to provide a seamless experience across clinics, included access to medical records and more.

See below for answers to some common questions you may have.

How will CareSpot and MedPost joining FastMed affect my experience at the clinic?

You will continue to have a great patient experience at all of our clinics. You can learn more about FastMed’s Joint Commission Accreditation here.

Will my employee be able to visit any FastMed, MedPost or CareSpot clinic in the same state or region for their employment or occupational health services?

Until we fully integrate, we will only be able to provide employment and other occupational health services at the clinics where your company is contracted to receive services. Please reach out to your account manager to help set up an account if one is not already set up. We can set an account up in both systems for consistent services and pricing until all centers are on the same system. For FastMed, contact us here. For CareSpot & MedPost, contact us here.

Will the services provided change at the clinics?

FastMed provides a multitude of services at its clinics ranging from urgent care and occupational health services to family medicine, delivered both in-person and virtually. Will my provider remain the same at my clinic?

As always, we have multiple providers covering each clinic, and you will have the option of engaging with the same providers at the clinic you may typically visit.

Will my insurance still be accepted?

FastMed, CareSpot, and MedPost accept most major insurance plans, including commercial as well as governmental plans, like Medicare and Medicaid. Complete list of insurance plans accepted by state here.

A few insurance plans will be out of network until FastMed can work with those payers to be in-network. Meanwhile, you can still receive care as you always have at CareSpot and MedPost. The clinic will provide you options.

Will I still have access to my health records at either clinic?

You will continue to have access to your records at the clinic you normally visit. To request your medical records, contact or FastMed patients can log in to MyChart or request their records by emailing

Will the prices change?
